Dear WordPress, I would like to delete blog posts from an old blog

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry for the continued trouble with this. Just to check, are you trying to trash the posts by going to your My Blogs page, clicking on the “Posts” link, and then clicking the Trash icon under the post there? Or are you going to your blog’s dashboard, then to Posts > All Posts, and clicking the Trash link there? Please let me know if it works from one place but not the other.

  If you don’t mind, I’d also like to test this by trying to trash one of the posts on your blog. Can you send me a link to one or two posts you want to delete?

  Yes that is correct.
  And when I hit the Trash icon, a red screen comes up and states:
  ” Whoa there! It looks like you don’t have permission to do that. You should try contacting your site admin and see if they can help.”

  I want to delete things at http://tombreyfogle.wordpress.com/

  For example, you could delete:
  http://tombreyfogle.wordpress.com/2014/03/02/as-accusations-of-fascism-fly-churchills-quote-comes-to-mind/

  Or you could delete:
  http://tombreyfogle.wordpress.com/2014/03/07/turning-off-russian-channels/

  Or you could delete:
  http://tombreyfogle.wordpress.com/2014/06/10/2nd-x-flare-in-progress-now/

  You need to log out and clear your browser cache and cookies.

  Then you need to log in under the correct username account.

  I tried all that.

  I have noticed this mostly seems to happen with “re-blogs.”

  I seem to be able to delete my own posts that are not “re-blogs.”

  Thanks for sharing those details. It does indeed look like this is an issue with how reblogs are handled. I’m checking with our team now to see if we can get that straightened out for you. :)
