  Dear WordPress,
  This week, I am switching blogs from Blogger (fantagesquare.blogspot.com) and I was searching for a domain (Fantage Square). I tried to enter it and it wouldn’t allow me. I then noticed I couldn’t make it since there was a past site with that name. Since that site is no longer in use, may you re-activate the name for me to use as my future blog’s name? Thanks.

  WordPress.com does not allow recycling of blog addresses. See the policy document here

  Your best bet is to try and contact the owner of the URL you want and, if their blog is no longer active, ask them if they would transfer the URL to you.
