Debugging Error – Unable to Edit
-
I have a critical error on my wordpress website, which also keeps me from editing widgets / accessing menu items.
Its a debug error and says this:
‘Your site is set to display errors to site visitors’Debug mode is often enabled to gather more details about an error or site failure, but may contain sensitive information which should not be available on a publicly available website.
The value, WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY, has either been enabled by WP_DEBUG or added to your configuration file. This will make errors display on the front end of your site.WP.com: Unknown
Jetpack: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there!
Could you share the URL of the site you are having problems with?
I have the feeling you are using the open-source installation from WordPress.org hosted elsewhere, and this forum is for sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com (differences .com vs .org).However, I found a thread from their forums where they solved the exact same problem, you can check it here
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/debug-error-on-my-website/That’s the forum you could use in the future for problems with a WordPress.org installation. If you are not sure which installation you are using, just send a link to the website and I’ll confirm it for you 😉
Hope this helped!

To get help with that you need to post in the WordPress.org support forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
The forum you have posted is for the WordPress.com hosting platform which is different than the WordPress software that your site is using. You can learn more about these differences here:
