Hello, I discovered that we have a site decantery.wordpress.com that I wasn’t aware of as we currently have another WP site decantery.com. When I log into my wordpress.com account I don’t see decantery.wordpress.com as an option to manage. I was wanting to turn this site off or at least hide it because it actually shows up before our decantery.com site in the SERPs.
I can log into our wordpress.com account but I don’t see how to manage decantery.wordpress.com.
I appreciate your help on this and I really appreciate your time.

The reason you cannot manage decantery.wordpress.com is because that site belongs to someone else! You are not the owner, so you have no control over it. There just happens to be an overlap with the names, which can happen.best,

Thanks, Dave, I appreciate the information. It looks like someone who worked at our company previously must have set it up but that person is no longer here. It links to our current Decantery.com website and the information is accurate. I couldn’t find a way to start the process of regaining control over it.
I’m also asking around to see who could have set it up in the past.

I saw the links, but there are few options i can offer. The support document regarding this has the criteria and information you need to have the good WordPress folks assist you. Take a look in this document:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/If you can provide one of the accepted identification pieces, you will be able to assume control of that site.
