decreasing margin size in my header text

    Hello,

    I’m curious how to reduce the size of my header description text. I’ve tried to mess around with custom CSS and have failed miserably thus far.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi,

    For this, you’ll have to target the container that holds that text.

    Try this:

    #site-description {font-size: ;}

    You can put whatever font size you want after the colon.
    I hope this helps.

    Is there a way that I could edit the margin around the text? The size of the text is not as much of an issue as the large spacing around the text.

  • Sure thing. If you’re talking specifically about the grey background behind the text, it can be adjusted.

    Currently, it uses this in the CSS:
    #logo {padding: 22px 45px;}

    This adds 22px of space above and below the text, in addition to 45px to the right and left.

    So you’ll want to adjust those numbers up or down to make it look how you want.
