Dedicate a page to a category

Hello, I recently created a wordpress site and I am in need of your help! I created a page called “Events” and a category called “Events” what I would like to do is be able to make a post on the homepage and put it in the events category. Then the Events page would also have the post on it. Essentially it (the Events page) would list all of the posts in the Events category without listing all of the other posts from the other categories.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

The only reason I post this here is because the WordPress.org forums are down for maintenance or something.

yes it is possible but you will need to get the programming help from WordPress.ORG – no programming allowed in the .COM software.
