  Hello, I attempted to delete a powered by wordpress site I came across about my business and is defamation. I am wondering how to delete? Please advise. Thanks,

  If the site is Powered by WordPress, chances are it is only using the open-source WordPress.org software. Sites on WordPress.com display a different message in the footer, and we would only be able to help with those.

  You can check https://www.whois.com/ for that site to see who hosts it, and contact the host directly. If the site was hosted on WordPress.com, you’d be able to use this form to report it:

  https://en.wordpress.com/abuse/.
