Defamation

I find it interesting that WordPress washes its hands of defamation issues. If a site has NO contact information, NO author name, NO address, are using a business name that does not exist, then why in the world are they requiring individuals to spend a fortune on lawyers. This is actually ridiculous. I am from another country and the cost to travel back and forth to a US lawyer and court system, only to be told that I need an address to serve paperwork, is a true waste of money and time. I am unable to serve anyone because the wimps that hide behind wordpress are actually enabled by the guidelines of wordpress itself. Something needs to change here.
