Defamation and Harassment. Final request for help from WordPress

    Hi,

    My name is Rupashree Rangaiyengar. There is a fake profile violating WordPress Terms of Service and despite that WordPress has refused to remove this content.

    Please allow me to make the following points clear:
    1. https://rupashreerangaiyengarisfraud.wordpress.com is a .com site hosted by WordPress. The individual has specifically tagged themselves under “India” giving jurisdiction to the Indian Courts.

    2. Even US First Amendment Act has limitations. Defamation, misrepresentation of facts and creating facts out of thin air is a crime in USA .

    3. WordPress has tagged those defamatory posts in their tags. Does WordPress believe in that content then? If these tags are not removed, then WordPress is liable for spreading defamation and causing further hurt to me.

    4. A DMCA notice has already been sent. My photos have been used without my consent. My privacy has been violated. Does WordPress believe in this?

    5. WordPress Terms of Conditions clearly say that an individual has to give their correct information in order to use their site. Has this information been given ? If not does WordPress violate its own terms?

    6. India has signed a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty with USA under criminal matters. Please read it under

    The owner of this harassing account is a wanted criminal under several acts in India. A foreign court proceedings have already been intimated against the owner of the account. Additionally I will also be sending a copy of the proceedings to WordPress.

    By refusing to keep WordPress community safer and cyber abuse free, does WordPress feel morally right to go down this path? Are women protected on your site? Are children protected on your site?

    This is my final request for help from WordPress. Please be advised that I will be forced to start proceedings against WordPress in India. If you do business here, I hope you realise that India is a signatory to CEDAW ( to stop harassment of Women) and India Supreme Court enforces zero- tolerance against crimes hurting women.
