Defaul dashboard
-
It is very complicated to access the default dashboard. What is happening? What mess is this?
-
-
Now we have too many things in the top bar, unnecessary things. I suggest removing the editing look button and the return of the “alert bell” in all of them.
-
-
The bar you are referring to is the WP-Admin bar https://wordpress.com/support/admin-bar/#tab-wp-admin-view and the options you see here are only shown to you when you are logged in to the site, and to help you quickly move through different options you have access to on the site.
-
The problem is that there is no quick way to access the normal dashboard through it, which is what I normally use, and the warning bell has been removed. If in my settings I had never placed the administrative dashboard as the main one, why force it like this?
-
I saw that at least now when we click on the WordPress icon we are taken to the list of sites, until yesterday this wasn’t happening.
-
I still think we need a direct link to “My Home” and the return of the warning bell on every page.
-
I have now discovered that the alert bell appears in the desktop version, just not in the mobile version. I suggest that if you are going to opt for something on mobile, that it remains, and the button relating to the site’s appearance is removed.
-
I can’t see it here

For those who have a website that receives a lot of comments, or a busy P2, the alert bell makes it a lot easier.

Hello!
I have some good news. Our team is working to fix this and I will get back to you as soon as it is fixed.

-
One suggestion: clicking on the WordPress icon should take you to “My Home”, within which you would access the Host page.
-
Thank you for flagging these! I’ve ensured they’re attended to by the right teams.
At the moment, you should be able to click on the third icon and then on “Dashboard” button to actually see the website dashboard:

-
This icon takes to the administrative dashboard, not the default dashboard. This is the problem!
-
I just noticed that on some sites clicking on this third icon takes you to the administrative dashboard and on others it takes you to the My Home page (default dashboard).
-
I don’t know if it helps, but the site where the third icon does not take you to the default dashboard has a custon domain.

For each of your sites, do you know if the dashboard type that it shows corresponds with the dashboard style that you’ve chosen in Settings > General?
-
Yes, on the website I looked the default dashboard is marked, but the third icon only takes to the administrative dashboard. I think it is a bug.
