Default Categories

  I have my default category set as Bipolar because that is what I mostly write about. However, sometimes I want to post about something completely random, but I cannot figure out how to change my default category. I can add categories but ‘bipolar’ always shows as one of my categories for every article I write. How can I change this? I would like to have no default category, but that doesn’t seem to be an option.

  Hi normalisoutthere!

  A default category (uncategorized) will be assigned to published posts if you don’t specify one. The default category can be changed under Settings -> Writing in your dashboard.
