Default category? Where?

  I want to change the default category on my blog. You used to be able to do this under Options/Writing, but since the interface has all been moved around I can’t figure out how to do this. You can actually mouse over the fault category and try to edit it, but you just get a message saying it couldn’t be updated – no explanation as to why.

  This is really bugging me. Couldn’t we just have a star or something next to the default category and an explanation of why I can’t edit it? Or is there something I’m doing wrong here? Or is it just not possible to do this cos of permalinks or something?

  It was, and it still is, under Settings > Writing.
