Default font for WordPress.com?

  What is the default font for WordPress.com? I am composing my posts in Word and using the Word copy/paste button in Add a Post to clean up the code, as instructed. However, it copies the post in the font style I have in Word. I can’t find what the WP default font is. If I knew, I would change my Word font to that and then everything would look the same (posts composed in WP and posts copied from Word). Thank you.

  It looks like there is still some leftover code that is forcing the font to change to Times New Roman.

  If you go to the edit page of your post and then click “HTML” next to “Visual,” you can see there is a lot of extraneous styling.

  In this case, I wouldn’t paste from Word, and I would use another text editor.

  For future information, the default font for your theme is Helvetica Neue, which is also the main font used on WordPress.com.
