Default Image on a post
-
I am using the theme Oxygen on my website and I have just started posting pictures. However, on some of the posts, the featured image or image displayed before clicking on the link, I want to change the image. I’ve tried rearranging the pictures but it seems to just pic one on it’s own on every post so I am taking a chance on if it will be a picture I like or do not like.
I am wondering if there is a way to where I can select a picture that is the default one before clicking on the link where all the pictures are?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi! It sounds like you need a featured image. Have you tried setting a featured image for each of your galleries? If not, give it a shot:
When editing your gallery post look for a box that says “Set featured image“. Click that and you’ll be presented with your entire Media Gallery. Look for a dropdown menu near the top-left that says, “Images“. Select the dropdown and then click the option for “Uploaded to this post“. This will show you only the images you uploaded to that gallery post. Click the image you wish to feature, which will place a check mark in the top-right corner of the image, then click the blue button in the bottom right corner. Don’t forget to update your post when done. Good luck!
