default main page

  I use my blog link http://psfwork.wordpress.com as a link to my blog…..But when it is clicked ..it defaults to adding /2011 onto the URL which does not allow visibility of the already built posts on thte landing page. BUT Then click my name headline and tada it mysteriously appears and the default changes back.? I DO NOT WANT TO RECREATE THESE POSTS IN A whole NEW PAGE (WHICH IS NOT REGISTERED AS A PAGE BUT LANDING PAGE?) cAN WE LOSE THE “/2011”?
