Default menus

  Crazy question here. I had modify my menu and Don’t remember something. When you first set up your WP account for the very first time. You see two menus at the top. HOME, and ABOUT. Is the HOME tab a static page by default?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I figured out my menu tabs. but when i open my wp the homepage does not show up unless i click home tab. Why is this.

  By default clicking the default Home link http://accessibledestination.wordpress.com/ made you arrive on the front page of the blog. By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top.

  That is for the convenience of your returning visitors, who come to read your latest post, and who are not likely to be happy with being compelled to click through the same static page with the same blah, blah, blah on it every time they visit the blog looking for the latest post.

  However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, and know that static front pages are traffic killers, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts. To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ because you need a page for your published posts to appear on. After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

  When you create a custom menu you can include exactly which items in it, including static Pages like About that you want to include. For more read: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  Did you click on home page tab and see what i had there? thats what i want to show first. so i would still do what you mention here?

  I was trying to explain what you had already changed.
  You got a blog with the front page at http://accessibledestination.wordpress.com/
  That front page was ready to display all published posts in the blog by default.

  You changed that by creating this http://accessibledestination.wordpress.com/home page to make it the front page now you need to do what I stated above. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
