Default sidebar CSS code
-
I am new to self hosting/coding and completely ruined by sidebar accidentally by deleting it in the editor. Could someone please tell me what the default code is, just to return it to how a normal sidebar would look.
Thanks -
Hi there. First, we can’t help you without knowing what your site’s URL is. Each theme is different in terms of the CSS used, so there is no default code that will work on all themes, and without being able to see your blog/know which theme you’re using, there’s no way to give you the correct code.
Second, for help with CSS, please post in the CSS forum. Not all the volunteers can give CSS support, but those who do mostly answer threads in that forum: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform
Lastly, please make sure that you are in fact seeking help with a WordPress.com site. If you have a self-hosted site, you need to be in the WordPress.org forums, as those sites work completely differently from free WordPress.com blogs for which we provide support here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
