I have gone to Upgrades/Domains and leasfamilyfightforjustice.com is the Primary domain. However, leasfamilyfightforjustice.wordpress.com is the Default site domain. That shows ‘Coming Soon’. Is this the reason for all the 404 errors I’m getting? And, if it is, how do I make the Primary domain the Default site domain

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hey there @grammyhoot, I can see you’ve got that domain active and set to primary. The site is launched, too. Do you still need help?

If so, can you share where you’re getting 404 errors? Please send a link to a page that’s displaying that message, and we’ll go from there!

I’ve been trying to link 202 pages I uploaded to my Table of Contents page. This is supposed to let people go to my ToC and click on any of the pages I uploaded to view. I’ve been working on this for over a week now. I’ve checked my URL, my permalink, inserted a “Heading” block on the pages I uploaded (I didn’t realize the Title was not a block and the titles I listed on ToC match the titles I used for the pages I uploaded). Every attempt I’ve made keeps giving a 404 error code…

  • Ah. If you’re getting 404s there, I’m guessing it’s that the you’re manually creating the list and some of the links aren’t copied right.

But you do have one much simpler option. Can you try editing a page where you want your Table of Contents to be, then (on its own line) type /list … ? You should see an option for a page list. Pick that. You will see it create a list of pages and links for you. If you need to change the page order, you can with this tip.

And, once you have a table of contents, you can also simplify your menu bar if you’d like by creating a custom menu using these steps.
