Default size and position of images in posts
-
Hello,
I’m trying to find a way to set a default size and position images in my posts but I can’t find anything.
Right now i click add media, browse the library, center the image and set it’s size to 50%.
It doesn’t take long, but when I post 15 articles a day on several different websites and add around 5 images in each post, it gets pretty time consuming and infuriating…
I want my images to be centered and 50% size by default. Does anyone knows how to do that ?
Thanks

Hi there,
There’s no way to make these options the default, no. The image block automatically selects the “Large” image size as defined in your site settings, and it will always have no alignment selected by default.
What you can do is to set the “Large” image option to the actual dimensions you want your images to be. You can change that setting here:

An even better option is to resize your images to the size you want them to display on your computer, before you even upload them to your site. This has the added benefit that it will lead to significant savings in how much media storage space you use, i.e. your storage space for images will last much longer if you don’t upload images that are bigger than what you need.
