Default widgets…

  I downloaded a free template from fresheezy and I want to get rid of the Blogroll and Meta widgets from the right hand side.

  I have tried editing them through the dashboard but it shows that I have none installed.

  Any help would be appreciated

  Also is there a way to remove the “club1985.com” link from the top as it looks out of place

  I think the idea is that you add another widget, and then the defaults go away… :-S

  We can’t download non-wp.COM templates and our themes don’t have links embedded in them (except the notable exception of wp.COM and wp.ORG).

  There are two very good threads explaining the difference between wp.COM and .ORG posted at the top of this forum.
