Defender pro won’t run malware scan

    When I start scan it says initializing but never starts.
    I’ve no virus on my site and updated all plugins and updated the WordPress to 5.6. And still can not do a malware scan.
    I’m getting a lot of 404 errors from a page on my website that I deleted about 3 years ago and no longer exists, which shows that the defender is working ok.

    Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.

    Please contact support for the security plugin you’re using directly for help with this.
