Delay publishing after save/publish clicked?

    I’ve begun my first blog. I don’t want to publish it until Wednesday of this week; however, it must have hit the save and publish button. I was hoping I could just ‘save’ it and then publish it later. It seems though that it saves and publishes at the same time. I put it on private and figure I’ll make it public on Wednesday; however, is there a better way to delay a post while saving it? Sorry if I’m not explaining this situation very well. I’m just new…but a quick learner! :-)
