Delet Home page

  I would like to delete the ‘Home’ page from my site – or even rename it. I have been searching for hours with no luck. Is this possible. Thanks for your help. http://suerado.com/

  I kept searching and found how to move it to trash – have since deleted permanently but still there. Also I cannot seem to rearrange the order of my pages in Hum theme. Thanks again for any help.

  Hi there, the default menu will always include a link to your homepage – the front page of your site.

  The reason your homepage currently say Home in the menu is that your front page is currently set to display your latest posts, rather than a static page, which I’ll explain below. If you plan to have a blog and want the latest blog posts to be on your homepage, this is the right setting.

  If you don’t want your site to display your blog posts on the homepage, you’ll need to decide which static page you’d like as your homepage. You can then give it whatever title you want, in the title field – as you can see in this screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/171Z3W1D0D10 – and this title will be reflected in the menu.

  Once you create this page, head over to your dashboard at Settings > Reading, and choose “Front page displays: a static page.” Then, select your new page from the drop-down menu.

  There is a way to rename Home to something else, even if you’ve set the front page to display your latest posts, and that’s to create a custom menu, for which we have a full guide. If you need help with any part of it, just let me know.
