  I would like to delete both of the sites that are registered to my account, how do I go about doing this? I have had issues getting the verification emails through for these sites so have never got them up and running. I want to start a fresh with a new blog.

  Regarding the verification emails, have you checked the spam folder? Gmail can sometimes cause issues but here are a few steps you can check – https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/
