  I am trying to delete this altogether – I have an account through WordPress.org/Studiopress/Genesis – I was trying to get a Gravatar (clearly I know nothing about this stuff lol), somehow I signed up for this!! Help please. If I don’t need this, I wish to delete it. Thanks.

  Your Gravatar account functions as a WordPress.com account too. :)

  There’s really no harm in leaving it, and it’s even suggested, as Gravatar is used by .org too.

  You can also use the account to activate the Jetpack plugin, which you may find quite useful!

  There are some wonderful resources and folks over there that can help with your fancy new WordPress. :)
