  Hi @abbvnnb,

  User accounts cannot be deleted, however, you have a couple options if you are sure you no longer want to use your account:

  1) To leave WordPress.com, you can stop using your account which will leave it inactive.

  2) Remove all of your personal information from your Account Settings and change your password to a random string which would mean you couldn’t access it anymore.

  This is all assuming that you have already cleared the contents of your site. If not, here’s a link with information on the steps you need to go through to clear your content: http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  If you are having trouble still, you can ask Staff to do this for you. Make sure you have time to wait for someone to respond, and then type modlook into the tags in the right sidebar of this thread. It would be helpful if you added the URL of the blog the you want to clear here in your post and remember, you should be 100% sure that this is what you want to do as you can’t get the deleted material back.
