I am attempting to delete the %% in my site tab, and I can’t seem to figure it out. Can you help? I assume this is something very simple.

HI @mppradiocasbah ,
Thanks for posting in the WordPress.com forum,I try to help you:
I think you just need to rename your website title,
From your backend go to Apparance –> Customize –> Search for Site Identity –> and then Site Title & Logo Settings. Here you can edit your site title and remove the %% symbols.
I hope I was helpful :)
Let me know if you solved your problem.

Thank you. I tried that. I don’t believe that’s the right place. It doesn’t seem to show up in the Customize window. Please see attached screenshot.

This is a puzzle. I have no idea how long it has been there, but I don’t remember doing it.

Hi @mppradiocasbah,
I’m sorry that for now, we have solved the problem, but we will succeed :) ,
it’s bizarre, yet from inspecting your page (with google chrome) the title is %%RadioCasbah%% .Have you tried changing the site title like this:
from your backend, click on settings –> general.
you can change the Title and Tagline thereI hope you fix it like this ;)

hi @mppradiocasbahI , did some research:
If you don’t solve as described above then it could be a problem with the SEO plugin you are using.
Try disabling the plugin in question. If it resolves by disabling the SEO plugin, you need to investigate the plugin settings to resolve.
Keep me posted 😉

General Settings probably won’t do it either. I believe I attempted that before I contacted the Forums. I am moving tomorrow and I am recovering from food poisoning. I am not completely packed yet and the movers will be here tomorrow. It may take a few days to get back to you to attempt the last thing. I’ll do this as soon as possible. Apologies for the delay.

hi @mppradiocasbah,
I’m sorry you feel sick. I hope you recover as soon as possible.
Good luck with your move, I’ve done a lot in my life and I know it’s not a walk in the park ;)See you soon

Hi @mppradiocasbah your website isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com so we can’t really check it over unfortunately. The community forums over at WordPress.org may have some better insight for you though! You can find them at this link:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/That said, it sounds like that’s an SEO page title setting judging by your screenshot – it might help to take a look over your SEO plugin settings for how page titles appear in search results, as that type of setting often also affects how it appears in a tab.

Apologies for posting in the wrong place. Also, that said, the SEO plugin is where everything originated. I am not sure if the plugin specifically stated that I should do that. But I fixed it. Thanks y’all.
