delete a category from blog

  Hi! I’m using wordpress.com on line. My problem is to delete a category I have created in a wrong way.
  As far as I know, I go to ‘articles’, category… and the only option there is ‘to create a new category’ but not to delete or modify a already existing one.
  How do I delete an existing category?

  Hey juanlanas25!

  Deleting a category is easy, just follow these steps:

  1/ From the right menu/sidebar, click on “WP Admin” located under the Configure section (this will open the Admin on a new tab in your browser)
  2/ In the WP Admin, click on “Posts”, then click on “Categories” (you will see a list of all the categories you have created)
  3/ Find the category you want to delete, hover your mouse on it and click on “Delete” from options, you may need to confirm that you want to delete this category. Once you confirm, the category will be deleted.
