Delete a category on WP

I am not sure if I have access to WP admin. I read the article about categories and I would like to delete a category and learn how to edit one. Any link or suggestions? Thanks.

Note that you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the site to do what I post below.
The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:

1. To edit or delete a category assigned to a post (whether it’s a draft or has already been published), go to Dashboard → Posts → All Posts in your dashboard, hover over the title and click the Edit link. To delete the post click the Trash link.

2. To edit/delete categories in your dashboard go to Dashboard → Posts → Categories

3. To edit or delete dynamic category pages from your custom menu go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
