Delete a date line

Is there any way not to show a date line in your posts? Thanks. – Mickey Murphy
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can either switch to a theme that does not provide a date knowing that all post permalinks do have dates embedded in any event. Or you can purchase a custom design upgrade and hide the date form the blog post but it will still be in the post permalink. Permalink structure cannot be changed on free hosted WordPress.com blogs. ( Static pages sit outside the chronological structure of a blog; so as a rule they don’t display the publication date.)
You can view other themes and live demo them here > http://theme.wordpress.com

Also, whether a date can be removed without taking additional post metadata (author, tags, categories and even comment link) with it, is theme specific. In some themes you can remove just the date with CSS, and in others you cannot.

Thanks TimeThief and thesacredpath. What is a static page? That’s a new one on me? (Like everything else). – Mickey

Hi there,
Pages are static and are not listed by date. Pages do not use tags or categories. An About page is the classic example. See here > posts vs pages > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
