Delete a footer from page

  I would like to delete the footer on my page (static) that indicates the template I’m using as well as WordPress. I’d like to use my company instead. How do I do that? It’s themarketinggarage.com

  The footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service:

  http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

  Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer.

  However, you can add your company name as well by using a Text widget in the footer as described here:

  http://blog.ted.com/
