    Hi there,

What are the exact URLs starting with http:// of the sites you refer to please?

And, exactly which username account registered each site?

When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then we subscribe to this thread so we are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Have you read and acted on what`s in the support doc?

I did read the support doc. My upgrades page shows a purchase history w/ an upgrade from 2009 that is no longer active and hasn’t been for years. This upgrade was to allow video to play on my then main blog http://daisybell.wordpress.com The videos on this site still work although I have made no other payments. There is no credit card on file. The support page said to contact WP if changes couldn’t be made.

my username is daisybell. the site i want to delete is http://sisterslibrarylouder.wordpress.com I did buy a custom domain for this site a few years ago. The custom domain lapsed and that purchase is not reflected in purchase history.

I just clicked on the http://sisterslibrarylouder.worppress.com and it is pointing to the .com site which is no longer active. Is this the problem? I don’t want to have the .com or .wordpress.com for this site at all.

    thanks, d

Please be patient while waiting for Staff to remove the domain mapping from sisterslibrarylouder.worppress.com/ to sisterslibrarylouder.com that expired 398 days ago.

Thank you so much. I was frustrated to see that my questions landed in a forum, but you have been VERY helpful. This is a decent system for what must be an incredible help request load. Thanks again. ~ d

Not to worry as Staff will sort this as soon as they work their way forward to this thread. Posting here to the peer support form usually results in getting an answer more quickly than using other means does. I have been answering questions here for 10 years now. I predate the support docs and all but one Support Staff member even being on Staff. That is why I can say with confidence that there is rarely ever a question asked here that has not been asked and answered previously. Also, note that people seeking employment as WordPress.COM Happiness Engineers hone their questions answering skills here.

Hi there! It looks like the custom domain you had previously registered was still connected to your account for this site, which is why you weren’t able to delete the site.

When you’re ready, you can now permanently delete the site by following the steps outlined here. If you run into any other questions, just let us know.
