I need to delete a wordpress site that has been inactive for several years now. It was a student organization website, but since we have already used another new official blog, we no longer use the wordpress site anymore. The problem is, none of us remember the password, and our yahoo email has also been deactivated cause it has been inactive for long time. Thus, we don’t have any access to the blog, and we want to delete this blog forever, especially there are some information related to some people who are bothered by some of the posts in the site. How should we delete this blog? How can we contact anyone in person (not in a public forum like this) for this matter? Thanks.

You will have to use account recovery first to gain access to the blog and then delete it. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Your last resort for obtaining access is to complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery with as much information as possible and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.
To delete a free hosted WordPress.COM blog you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered a blog to delete the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
