Delete a user account ?

  Hello,

  I would like delete my account ‘aventuredetequila’. I don’t need this account anymore.

  Howdy,

  The user account itself isn’t able to be deleted. It is set up that way to help prevent someone else from gaining access to your site and pretending to be you. If you would like further information, please have a look here:

  However, you do have the option of completely removing all of your personal information from your account. Meaning the account would no longer trace back to you. Remove personal information here:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Then, you can change your email address to a throwaway address (something random) and change the password (something random) to prevent you from gaining access to it in the future. Or, you can just block all emails and keep the account dormant in case you may want to use it again in the future.
