delete a wordpress site

    I mistakenly created a wordpress blog/site when i was signed in under a WP site I created for the store where I work.so now it is under the stores admin. I want to delete this site and hope when i do so it does not also delete the site I created for the store. someone please reassure me !

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    If you want to keep the web address of the page and move it from the store account to your personal WordPress account, check out the steps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

    If you delete the site rather than transfer it, you will have to choose a new address for your site.

    I have a number of WordPress blogs under the same account, and can attest that yep, you can delete just one site without affecting any others.

    “Settings” > “Delete Site.”

    There are multiple confirmation points, and you will have to type in the address of the blog that you are deleting, so there aren’t any questions about what’s being taken down. : )

    Thank you kindly . . . will delete with confidence. Also, thanks for the info on how to move the site, which I may want to do with one of my other blogs!
