delete a wordpress site that we cannot login to!

  We do not have the login info for a WordPress site and need to delete it or change the login info.

  Of course you cannot CALL WordPress. Anyone have any ideas?

  Hi there!

  Can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

  Additionally, there’s no-one to call because there’s no single company that “owns” WordPress. WordPress is the free, open source software that you download from WordPress.org and many hosts will have one click installers to install WordPress for you.

  WordPress.com is one example of a host and you’ve posted in the WordPress.com support forums for sites hosted here. WordPress.com paid plans offer direct email and some plans add 1:1 live chat support.

  Thanks for the response!

  The site is: grandmarinermarina.wordpress.com

  What happened is the old owner (we just bought the business) had a relative build the site and no one remembers how to login to it!

  We have since created another “official” site: marinermarina.com

  But having multiple sites creates confusion.

  Since you’re not the original owner of the site and it sounds like the original owner doesn’t know the login either, there’s not much we can do here in the public forums.
