  Hi there,

  I see your site used to be on our Business Plan where you had plugins or a custom theme installed.

  Before you can delete that site, we’ll first need to properly downgrade it back to the free plan. This will remove all plugins and third party themes you still have installed, and there is also a risk that any content you added since you first installed plugins may be lost during this process.

  Even if you plan to delete the site, please confirm that you understand this if you want us to proceed with this process.

  Hi, we were able to downgrade the site properly. You can now delete it here:
  https://wordpress.com/settings

  There’s a delete site option with a prompt.

  Then, if you no longer need the account for Gravatar or any of our other services, you can close it using these steps:
  https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/
