Delete account

    Hey,
    I would like to delete my account (email visible only to moderators and staff) on wordpress. I already have another site and I’m happy with that. I’ve already deleted the site and now I want to delet the account.

    Can you help me?

    Hello,

    The account cannot be deleted. It is set up that way so that someone else can’t gain access to your site and pretend to be you.

    If you want to get rid of your account details, follow this link and remove all personal information from your account.

    Change your email address to a throwaway address and change the password to something random that you won’t remember to prevent you from gaining access to it in the future. Or, you can just block all emails and keep the account dormant in case you may want to use it again in the future.
