  Hello,

  I would like to delete an old account please. I deleted the email account that I used to create this profile therefore I can no longer sign in and delete the account myself. It is imperative that I delete this account now because it will hurt my privacy and my professional well-being. Please inform how I may proceed. I made this website for a school project.

  What is the URL for the site you’re referring to?

  In the case of a WordPress.com site, you can permanently close it by visiting the Account Settings page (https://wordpress.com/me/account).

  You can find more information here:
  https://wordpress.com/support/close-account

  If you have an active WordPress.com plan or upgrade, you must cancel these purchases before your account can be closed.

  Please note you will lose all the sites you own and their contents when you close your account. Within a few weeks, the data will be removed entirely from the system, and at this point, this cannot be undone.
