WordPress is really great on making easy sites but there is a small learning curve. I think you should give it another try before moving on. Maybe I can help with that? If you would rather delete it, I can also explain how.

I feel like the learning curve is very steep. I tried many times and I even have some basic programming knowledge. I just have too much to do to try again. I wish I could make my own, basic website but it is just too confusing. I never found a very simple tutorial. I really liked Xoax’s programming tutorials:
