i want to delete my account. I want to name my website as simplychimera.com and not simplychimera.wordpress.com
I want to remove the “wordpress.com” from my url but it saids I need to upgrade to pro version. I already have my domain name and my own web hosting company.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Note that deleted blog URLs are not recycled. If you delete the blog the URL cannot be reused by anyone.

1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:

According to this support document (http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/) your account can’t be deleted, however, you can delete said blog: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
