Hi,
you can not delete your account. But you can deactivate it. It is not possible to delete an account to protect your identity and username from being misused.
There are a few steps to follow to successfully deactivate your account (https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/) :
1. First, you need to empty your sites by deleting all of these items:
• Posts
• Pages
• Categories
• Tags
• Media files
If you need help deleting these items, you can follow the guide on this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/2. Afterwards, you can delete your site by going to My Site > Settings. In the Settings
section, go to the bottom of your site, and choose “Delete Site”.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/3. If you have upgrades installed on your website such as Premium Theme or Custom Domain, you need to remove them before deleting your site.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#deleting a-site-with-upgrades4. After you deleted all sites, go to my account settings and remove all personal information except username and email address that you provided as the only detail required for WordPress subscription.
5. You can change that email to a throwaway address that is not connected to you, and you will not receive any notifications from WordPress.
6. Lastly, you can change your password to a random string. This will leave your account inactive and you will not be able to gain access to it in the future. How to change your password: https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password
