  To whom it may concern,

  I am looking into deleting my WordPress.com account as I no longer use it, but could not find the option through the website.

  Could you kindly assist me in completely closing down my account tied with email address (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  You can’t delete your account itself as it was mentioned by a staff here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/deletion-of-account-13?replies=2.

  However, there are many things you can do for removing your personal information from your account. Please refer to the link above and perform it.
