I spoke with one of your call representatives who told me to explain it in an email, which I did.
I’m not really sure exactly how WordPress created two separate domains. Blue host told me I need to start over.

WordPress.com support is only offered online. Do you have the number that you called?
Can you tell me the domains involved? Do you plan on continuing with a WordPress.com hosted site or do you want to use the WordPress installation with a separate hosting provider (like Blue Host)?
There are 2 versions of WordPress. At WordPress.com we handle the nitty gritty details of the site and keep it updated and online. With the WordPress installation you are responsible for those details. Another big advantage to using WordPress.com is access to a dedicated support staff whenever you run in to trouble. Lastly, you don’t need to carry a separate hosting cost.
With the WordPress installation you would need to post to the community forums via wordpress.org/support/ or get in touch with your host for support.
