  I do not seem able to delete my account. Not the sites, the account. I also do not seem able to contact WordPress; the “Contact Support” link redirects to a search page and no email address or feedback form is available. This is deeply disturbing. I want my account completely deleted.

  Username accounts are never deleted here. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/ and contacting Staff will not result in a different answer.
