  Hi there, I was wondering if you could delete my account. I made a mistake of creating one and would not like to have one anymore. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  There is no way to delete a WordPress account once created.
  You can instead leave your account inactive by following this:

  1) Delete Site linked to your account
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  It seems like you have already done this.

  2) Change your password to random string and leave the account inactive.

  3) Change email address under Account Settings. This will help in creating another WordPress account in future with same email id as every WordPress account is linked to unique email id.
