  Hello christophegrant,

  There is not provision to delete WordPress.com account, however you can remove all your information from your account by following below recommendations,
  1. Delete all the sites linked to your account.

  2. Unsubscribe from all notifications and block all email updates that you are following on WordPress.com
  Use this link https://wordpress.com/me/notifications/subscriptions

  3. Change your password to some unimaginable string of alphanumerics.

  4. Change your email address from account settings. You can generate temporary email here, https://www.emailondeck.com
  This step will allow you to use your existing email id to create another WordPress.com account.
