  I want to delete or completelly empty my account so I can start my professional website from scratch all over again, without having my old blogs there. How can I do it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  To start all over again, you can simply empty your site and give it a new look by choosing another theme or simply customizing the current one. To do this, see below links:

  Empty site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
  Themes: https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/
  Customizer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/
  Custom Design: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/

  If you still want to delete your site, you can do that too. Refer this link for the same: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  After deleting the site, you must delete your personal information from Account settings (See this for more details on Account settings) and also change your password (See this for more details on passwords). By doing so, your account will become inactive and you won’t be able to access it in future. For more details on this, please refer this link.

  Hi there, hope you don’t mind me jumping in on this discussion.

  @ferransellrib – Do not delete your site in order to empty it of content. Deleting your site is permanent and you will not be able to reuse the site address in the future. Follow this support guide that @vaidehisingh linked to https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/ to remove all the existing content.

  Please also note that you are not required to delete your account. In fact it is not possible to delete a WordPressdotcom account.

  @vaidehisingh please let us know where you have this information from

  “you must delete your personal information from Account settings”

  as perhaps one of our support guides needs clarification. Even if someone deletes their site, they can continue to use their account. Thanks.

  Hi ferransellrib,

  As @justjennifer mentioned, please do not delete your site if you wish to use the WordPress.com address again. Once a site has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.

  I can see several sites listed in your account, can you confirm which one you would like a fresh start on? If you let me know, I’ll look at your options.

  Hi @justjennifer,

  I have taken the information from here.

  After deleting the site, you must delete your personal information from Account settings (See this for more details on Account settings) and also change your password (See this for more details on passwords).

  As I have mentioned above, it will only delete the personal information of the user who wants to delete the site and will not delete the account.
