  Delete my wordpress account as I do not use the service.

  Hi there,

  We are sorry to see you go.

  WordPress.COM accounts can only be deactivated and cannot be deleted permanently after its being created.

  To deactivate your account and leave WordPress, refer to the instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  Even as a deactivated account, your username is not removed from the database to avoid any other users registering it when creating a new account. This keeps you from being impersonated by anyone else.
