  Can you share the URL of your site?

  If your site is on WordPress.com, you will have to follow the below steps:

  1. If your site is upgraded, then you will have to cancel your subscription by following below link:
  https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/#removing-purchases

  2. To close the account, you can follow the below link:
  https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/

  Secondly, please note that this forum is for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the open-source WordPress.org then check the below link :
  https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  @hootwilliams, before you’re able to delete the site, we’ll need to revert it to the state it was before you uploaded the first plugin. That will cause all content added afterward to disappear. Since you’re trying to delete the whole site, I imagine you don’t mind but I would apreciate if you could confirm you’re okay with this :) Thanks!

  Thanks for your response. Yes, I am okay with this as I am going to be starting over with another platform.

  Thanks for confirming. You should be able to delete the site now without any issues.
  If you still see an error, try refreshing the page.
